| The Grameen
Ayurvedic Medical College, Terdal started at Terdal with intention
to impart medical education in Ayurveda for rural students which is
usually privilege of urban rich. The institution is recognized by
the Govt. of Karnataka under its G.O. No. AKUK 224 PIM 96, Bangalore,
dated 23-05-1996.
It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of
Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka to teach AYURVEDACHARYA degree
course B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) 4 ½
years course prescribed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine,
Govt. of India, New Delhi.
We have got well furnished and beautifully constructed college
building with all the required Departments, Museum, Laboratory,
Library etc. We also possess Herbs Garden, Dissection Theatre, Sports
Ground and full fledged Ayurvedic Hospital with all the modern equipments
such as Operation Theatre, Labour Room, Laboratory, Central Oxygen
Unit, Good Staff in all the departments and sections.
The college consists of qualified and experienced teaching staff
headed by experienced Principal. |
